Tonight should be hell-ish March 27, 2008

Yikes.  This is going to suck.

I’m never excited to watch Louisville play a game that I think they will win.  Further, when said game is in the NCAA tournament, I’m even less excited.  Beyond that, Kentucky is no longer playing in the tournament to assuage me.  And to top it off, their opponent is another hated rival, Tennessee.

Truly, the only solace we Cat fans can take in this game is that someone is going to lose.  However, with the luck we’ve had this season, it would not be surprising to see Pitino and Pearl join forces and find an NCAA loophole allowing both teams to advance.

How will Pearl handle UL’s pressure? By running off to Bloomington… This would certainly help the Scotty Hopson situation. (AOL Fanhouse)

Here’s Clay’s piece about how great Pearl and Pitino are. Admittedly, tonight’s game will be fast-paced and super-exciting. Unless it quickly turns into a blowout. Have I done enough reverse-psychology and jinxing yet? (Herald-Leader)

This is Lofton’s last chance to torment the Kentucky folk. Take all your anger out on the Cards, Chris. (Courier-Journal)

Spring practice preview. I guess it’s time to look to football. (Yahoo! Sports)

Vaught chats with Coach Brooks about the “athletic”-er Cats. (Advocate-Messenger)

Hopson news. This kid is all over the place.  Speaking of all over the place, if you were able to follow Jim Donnan’s ramble last night, Hopson is also showing interest in Rutgers.  I wouldn’t put much stock in what Brennan says, however, because he didn’t know Hopson’s first name for the life of him. (Demling’s blog)

Good news: Devin Ebanks has been released from his LOI. Bad news: UK is not in his top 4. (Fox Sports)

Nice article about Danny Green, whose father was imprisoned for much of his UNC playing career. (ESPN)

Whitlock weighs-in (hi-yo?!) on the LeBron/Gisele cover. (Fox Sports)

I-ro-nyyyyyyy. (Awful Announcing)

Celtics smashed the Suns last night. I don’t care really, but Rondo had a sick ankle-breaker on Nash. Vid at the end of the post. (Bright Side of the Sun)

An interview with Sawyer Carroll. Kid can rake. (College Baseball Blog)

Sweet House Party hairstyle? Check. Blazing speed? Check. Confusing passes at the speed of light? Check. Possibility for greatness at ‘Zona alongside Budinger and Bayless? Check. However, this kid plays like an And1 star. Brandon Jennings is an amazing talent, but he turns the ball over a lot. How much of a white nerd do I sound like here? (AOL Fanhouse)

A lot more throughout.  Maybe some football, some more basketball probably, all that jazz.  We’ve also got some more interviews lined up, but we might wait until next Friday to start again.  The tournament usually occupies everybody’s brain at this point.

Here’s the best I could find. There’s also some random KG commentary and some rap song. The lyrics are probably bad, so keep your sound off. Trust me, you’ll thank me. The crossover is at the beginning, so there’s no reason not to watch.
